The whole house
The whole guesthouse to yourselves, an hour from Nice
With sleeping arrangements for twenty-four, a common room featuring a wood-burning stove, and home-cooked meals, this gîte—located just an hour from Nice—can be booked for exclusive use for your private or corporate events.
The gîte is situated at an altitude of 1,300 m in the hamlet of Saint-Dalmas, on the Valdeblore plateau between the Vésubie and Tinée valleys, right at the gateway to Mercantour National Park. It is a one-hour drive from Nice—far enough to leave the city behind, yet close enough to avoid wasting a whole morning on the journey. For group accommodation in the Alpes-Maritimes, the logistics are simple: you rent the entire gîte, so everyone sleeps under the same roof and eats at the same table.
Dining options include a traditional table d’hôtes experience, a private chef to create custom menus, or a catered meal featuring local, seasonal produce. Whether you are a club, a company, or a large family gathering, please fill out the form to move forward with your plans.

Groups & clubs
Groups, clubs and sports teams
This is the role the lodge plays best: serving as a base for hiking, cycling, and running groups. The hamlet sits at the junction of the GR5 and GR52 trails, plateau paths start right at the doorstep, the Colmiane bike park is just 3 km away, and the secure bike storage includes a water point for washing down your gear.
For a sports training camp or a club weekend, it’s not the brochure that matters—it’s the logistics: breakfast served between 7:00 and 8:30 AM, packed lunches ordered when you book, and a drying room for anything that comes back soaking wet.
And in the evening, there’s only one place to be: the common room. Debriefing, maps spread out on the table, a wood-burning stove—this is where the next day’s plans take shape.
Hiking clubs, sports teams, associations: let us know your group size and dates—even if they’re just estimates—and we’ll work out the best options together.
Company retreats
Corporate retreats and team offsites
An hour's drive from Nice and the team is at 1,300 m. That's a short trip, and far enough that nobody slips back to the office between sessions. For the length of your corporate retreat, the house is yours alone: the common room through the day, the long table in the evening, the bedrooms above.
What changes a working day up here is mostly what you don't do. You don't get back in a car at the break: you walk twenty minutes out onto the plateau and come back. The evening doesn't scatter across a hotel lobby: it ends in front of the wood stove, which sounds like nothing and is usually where the real work of a team offsite happens. And half board settles morning and evening without anyone driving back down the valley.

Families & reunions
Families, reunions and big birthdays
Here, everyone sleeps where they please: choose from double or twin rooms with private bathrooms, or the 3- and 4-bed dormitories that the older cousins always clamor for. And no one has to cook: in the evening, the table d'hôtes serves everyone at once—we pull up extra chairs, and the meal lasts exactly as long as it should.
The next day, everyone sets their own pace: some hike up to Baus de la Frema, others go to see the wolves at Boréon, and the more leisurely ones explore the hamlets on foot. We all meet up again in the evening at the same table.
Whether it’s a birthday or a reunion, just let us know who is coming and when, and we’ll check the dates together.
What changes
L'établissement quand vous le privatisez
In practice, exclusive use changes three things.
The house isn't shared. You're alone in the corridor, alone in the common room, alone at the table. Boots pile up by the door and get in nobody's way, and the last one up in front of the stove turns the light off when they've finished their sentence.
The timings become yours. Breakfast no longer waits on a hiker with a stage to catch: it's served when you ask for it. A dawn start for a training camp, a slow morning for a family weekend — it stops being the house's rhythm and becomes yours.
The rest, we talk about. Twenty-four beds, from a renovated superior room to a three-bed dorm: who sleeps where is worked out with you. Meals, packed lunches, late arrivals, what you want to do with your days — ten minutes on the phone settles more than any web page can.

Frequently asked questions
What people usually ask
Can we rent the whole guesthouse?
Yes — the house books out whole, with its 24 beds, its common room and its table d'hôtes dinners. Sports clubs, associations, companies, families: tell us your rough dates and we'll look at them with you.
How many of us can you sleep?
The house has 24 beds, split between two renovated superior rooms, private rooms with their own bathroom, and dorms of 3 and 4. Exactly who goes where is easier settled on the phone than on a page: +33 4 93 02 89 04.
Do you host weddings?
People ask us now and then. What we know how to do is put your guests up under one roof, in a mountain hamlet at 1,300 m, and sit them round a big table in the evening. Everything beyond that depends on what you're picturing — call us and we'll talk it through, because this kind of plan takes shape far better in conversation than in a form.
How do we get a quote?
The quickest route is the phone: +33 4 93 02 89 04. Ten minutes tells us whether your dates are free and what your project needs. Or write to us with your rough period ('a weekend in June') and roughly how many people you expect, and we'll call you back.
